Today, our website developer had a chance to value-add our other marketing services with a custom developed CRM and booking engine. While ther are many off the shelf products that perform these tasks, some even specialised to the medical industry, our client wanted to make a CRM and booking engine that met very specific criteria as to what they wanted and how they wanted it to function.

This means that the client doesn't have to compromise on what they ideally want in order to accept a third party off the shelf product or plugin. We make everything function from the ground up.

One other advantage of custom development as opposed to licencing and using stock plugins is that there are no subscription fees to pay. With some CRm and booking engine plugin providers charging up to hundreds of dollars each month to a subscription platform. The product we develop for them becomes their property and there are no ongoing fees.

So while having something custom developed may cost more from the outset, the annual fees of running a third party plugin system will eventually outweigh the costs of a custom developed solution and, better yet, the project will be built to the exact specifications of our client.
